Product Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Period

Mori Journaling AI products purchased from our official store (mori.to) are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty supplements, and does not replace, any statutory warranty rights you may have under applicable laws.

For defects identified within thirty (30) days of receipt, the Purchaser may also be eligible for return or exchange under the Company's Return and Refund Policy. Where both this Warranty Policy and the Return and Refund Policy apply, the Purchaser may elect the remedy most favorable to them.

2. Warranty Coverage

Under normal use conditions, if the product exhibits defects in materials or workmanship within the warranty period, we will provide warranty service free of charge.

To apply for warranty service, you must provide:

  • A valid product serial number
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation email, receipt, etc.)

3. Scope of Coverage

3-1. Main Unit

This warranty applies to the Mori Journaling AI main unit (Model: MRD01). Functional failures occurring during normal use are covered.

3-2. Accessories

The following accessories are classified as consumable items. Normal wear and deterioration from regular use are not covered under this warranty, even within the warranty period. However, defects present at the time of purchase are covered.

  • Magnetic Clip
  • Necklace

4. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Products that have been disassembled, repaired, or modified without our authorization, or used outside of official usage guidelines
  • Damage caused by misuse, including but not limited to: dropping, collision, compression, moisture, or liquid damage
  • Damage or performance issues caused by third-party accessories not provided or certified by us
  • Failures caused by natural disasters (earthquakes, lightning, fire, flooding, etc.), accidents, or other force majeure events
  • Cosmetic scratches from normal use, and natural deterioration of consumable parts (Magnetic Clip, Necklace, etc.), unless defects existed at the time of purchase
  • Products with serial numbers that have been altered, removed, defaced, or made illegible
  • Products on which software has been modified without our authorization
  • Products without sufficient proof of purchase
  • Stolen or counterfeit products, or products purchased from unauthorized resellers
  • Loss of the product or accessories due to user negligence
  • Products not purchased from mori.to

5. Account Binding

This product requires account binding with the Mori app. The product cannot be used with a different account unless the previous owner has unbound their account. Products purchased through the secondary market are not eligible for support.

6. Warranty Service Options

If an eligible defect occurs during the warranty period, you may choose one of the following warranty services free of charge:

  • Repair: Repair of the defective product.
  • Replacement: Replacement with the same model or an equivalent product.

We will honor your preferred remedy. However, if the chosen option is impracticable, we may offer an alternative solution.

If neither repair nor replacement can be completed within a reasonable timeframe, you may seek additional remedies under applicable laws.

7. How to Make a Warranty Claim

  1. Contact us via email at support@mori.to.
  2. Provide the following information:
  • Order number or proof of purchase
  • Product serial number
  • Detailed description of the defect
  • Photos or videos showing the defect
  1. Our customer support team will review your claim and advise you on the next steps.
  2. You may be required to return the product for inspection.

8. Shipping Costs

  • For warranty-eligible defects: Shipping costs will be covered by us.
  • Shipping costs are the customer's responsibility in the following cases:
  • Returns for reasons not covered by the warranty
  • Returns from outside the original country of purchase
  • Products found to be in working condition upon our inspection

9. Disclaimer

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of data or information resulting from the use of this product
  • Return of personal items sent to us

You may have additional rights under the laws of your jurisdiction. These statutory rights are not limited or superseded by this warranty policy.
